3 Month Photo Session

I don't think Ella is going to be able to leave the house till she's 42. She is just so stinkin cute.... I'm really excited about how these pictures turned out, I think I've become a Photoshop junky.


The kitchen table still seems to work pretty well as our make shift studio. This time around we tried not using the boppy to set her in, instead we just sat her on the table and had Lisa behind the sheet holding her in place. you almost can't even tell that those are lisa's hands under the blanket holding her in place. The background was just a plain white sheet (I used photoshop to create the pink backgrounds that you see) and on the table top we used a white sheet with the sheer curtain to soften it up a bit.

We thought it only fitting to use the lady bug pillow Auntie Ruey and Uncle Raj brought from Arizona as her theme for this months pictures. The lady bug antena's Lisa made from one of her head bands and some pipe cleaners. Her outfit which you can't see to well also has ladybugs all over it.
It was kind of challenging taking these lady bug pictures, as everytime we set her on the pillow she would start to slide backwards. So I had to quickly take the picture as soon as Lisa let go.

At 3 months Ella is really a happy baby. Her coordination has gotten a lot better, she can reach out and grab things now, and really enjoys shoving what ever she grabs into her mouth. She likes playing in her play gym and sitting in her bumbo playing with toys and watching TV.

Ella's New Bumbo

I had never heard of a Bumbo before, until Lisa brought one home the other night. These chairs are pretty cool.
At 3 months Ella can hold her head up on her own, but by no means can she support herself in a sitting position. However with this chair, she can sit up all by herself.

Lisa bought the tray accessory that attaches on the front and she sits there and plays peacefully.

Ella had a great visit with Aunty Ruey and Uncle Rog. Thanks for coming all the way from Phoenix to see me.
