Ella Visits the Pumpkin Patch
We took Ella to pick pumpkins this past weekend, and she had a great time. She had no interest in paying attention to mom and I while we were trying to take these pictures. There was just too much going on around her that was so much more interesting.
She was just having fun watching all the people walking by, and touching all the pumpkins around her.

Ella's 4 Months Old...
I don't know what we're going to do when we can't use the kitchen table as our studio anymore. I'll have to post a picture of our little home made studio, so you can see just how crazy of a set up it actually is, but I'll save that for another day.
Let's get to the important stuff....
At 4 months Ella is such a happy baby. She loves to smile and tell stories, at least I think they're stories. Every morning Mommy and Ella chat it up while getting dressed.
She's getting stronger and stronger during tummy time, and should be rolling over very soon. She has all the steps down, but just can't seem to put them all together and roll over on her own.
Ella's very fascinated in everything we do. No matter what Lisa or I is doing, she loves to watch intently and just absorb it all in.

Ella Eats Cereal!
Ella had her first experience with cereal the other night, and as we expected, she ate it with no problems. A little messy, but with no problems.
We found that if we held her hands down we could have a 2 second head start before she would try and stuff her hands in her mouth, and trust me you need that extra 2 seconds.
After doing this for a couple nights in a row now, we also noticed that she uses her thumbs to help swallow the food. At least that's what I think she's doing anyways. After the food is in there, she sucks her thumb like she would a bottle to swallow the food. Pretty smart for a 4 month old.
Although with sucking her thumbs, she has a funny little ritual she performs. She sucks a couple times on one thumb, then it's over to the other thumb, back and forth, back and forth, until we have to hold her hands down again to give her more food. I can't help but chuckle watching her eat.

Even with a messy face she is still so darn cute

Ella Learns a New Skill.....
Spit Bubbles.....
This isn't just your normal bubble blowing. These bubbles involve her entire body.
Video would have been better to get the real picture, but you'll get the idea.
She takes a deep breath, tenses up her entire body, and pushes out all the air in her lungs. That air being forced out through closed lips makes this funny noise, and sprays spit all over her face, usually ending up in a nice spit mustache.
Crazy Girl
