7 Months

7 Months!!! God it seems like just last week she was born. Time goes by way to fast....
Ella's changing so much. Lisa pointed out the other night that her face is changing, and she's looking so much older. Looking at these pictures, I think she's right. Ella has so much more facial expression now. It's almost like she's posing for the camera. We go from her serious look to her cheesy smile look and finish up with her big bright smile pose.

At 7 months Ella is now sitting up on her own, and loves to sit in her play pen and play with her toys. She can roll over on her own, but still chooses not to if she doesn't have too. I swear she's just gonna bypass rolling and crawling and just stand up and start running around the house one of these days.
Her two bottom teeth have fully come in, and she really loves to bite things. So much so, Lisa calls her, her little vampire. She has to put EVERYTHING in her mouth including noses, (if their close enough when your holding her) and necks. Mostly she just likes to chew your shirt.
She's eating somewhat real food. Mainly pureed fruits and veggies, and rice cereal.
And of course the hair continues to grow. At this point we can put her whole head of hair into one pony tail. If we didn't put her hair up, her bangs would fall below her mouth.

I just realized I didn't post any of her Christmas 6 month pictures, sorry about that, December was a little busy. Here's a couple from that series

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We had a blast watching Ella open her gifts on Christmas morning. We weren't sure what she was going to do, but I have to tell ya, I think she was born to open gifts. She knew exactly what to do, we'd start her off with a little tear, and she would just go to town. Granted, just because she knew what to do, doesn't mean she was a swift un-wrapper.

She would tear a little, then stop and play with the piece she was ripping. then perhaps if the spirit moved her, she'd give the paper a little taste, because as you know at 6 months, EVERYTHING ends up in the mouth.
Then she'd finally get the gift un wrapped, and of course then we'd have to play with it, and again stick it in the mouth jsut to make sure it tasted ok..

All we really needed to do was jsut wrap up some empty boxes, because ultimately it was the paper that was entertaining.

Every little girl should have a pink pony. She's not exactly old enough to play with it yet, but Lisa couldn't resist.
