8 Months ...... Already?!?

I know, I know, I'm a little late with getting these 8 month pics online.

Ella's becoming more and more mobile theses days, so taking pictures has become a little harder. We've moved from the "Kitchen Studio" to the " Movie Room" studio.  With Ella moving and rolling around now, the kitchen table just isn't the safest of platforms, so we've moved to floor of the movie room to give her a little more room to roam.

Speaking of roaming Ella has started to crawl now. Now she's not making the long journey across the house just yet, but she does take a few steps.

Ella's 1st moments of crawling

Ella has 4 more teeth coming in. Yes, you heard that right, FOUR more teeth. She now has her 2 front bottom teeth, and 4 front top teeth. So sticking your finger anywhere near her mouth is something I don't recommend.

Ella has started eating finger foods now, moving on from boring rice cereal. She still eats the cereal, but at least she has more exciting things to eat like rice puffs and messy cookies. Not to mention the wonderfully smelling pureed beef and veggies. Mmm Yumm

As if crawling wasn't enough, Ella has also taken on the task of trying to stand. She can pull herself up onto her knees all by herself, using the coffee table.Them with some guidance from Mommy she can move to a standing position. Crazy.

Once she gets to a standing position, she doesn't want help anymore, and tries to let go.... Fearless.

Just Because..

Ella and I were having fun the other day playing on the floor waiting for Mommy to come home. She was more interested in trying to grab my camera than giving me a smile.
