Ella's trip to Arizona!

Ella went on her first airplane ride to see her aunties (and Uncle Raj, of course) in Arizona! Here she is in the Detroit airport, waiting to get on another plane headed for sun and fun!
Auntie Ru and Uncle Raj were ready with plenty of toys for Ella to play with during her visit! The aunties came over for a play date soon after we arrived!

This little girl was spoiled, for sure! She had the best time  with her aunties! Here she is looking cute with Auntie Annie!

Ella went to a festival in Phoenix, and Uncle Raj offered up great snacks!
Ella loves her Auntie Ru. They had a great time rattling the water bottles, playing with blocks, and cuddling!
"Look at me, Uncle Raj! I'm walking with the shopping cart!"

Auntie Jill was a great playmate! Ella loved sitting on her lap and chatting with everyone!

Snuggling with Uncle Raj and Auntie Ru!

We didn't get a chance to take Ella's picture with a cactus, so this was the next closest thing!

What an adventure Ella and Mommy had in Arizona! Fun times!!!

Easter Bunny

Holy cow, this girl is growing up fast.
At 10 months, Ella has added more words to her vocabulary: "Ball", "Up", "Mom", and as of late "Hi". Well, Ball sounds more like Bawwll sometimes, and "Up" sounds more like Bupp, but we know what she means. She still doesn't exactly know what you mean when you say "Where's Mommy" or "Where's Daddy", but sometimes when you ask the question she will look at the right person and smile. So maybe she's just not letting on that she knows.

Ella was excited about her 1st Easter basket. She may not have known what the heck was going on, but she sure did love those eggs. Oh, and I'm going to have to have a little conversation with the Easter Bunny next year, cause he seemed to forget the most important part of the basket.... CANDY!!

Ella had her first experience with being outside in the grass this month. I'm not sure she knew exactly what to make of it, she seemed a bit frozen when first placed on it. But when she got the courage up to move, she would lean forward, and use every ounce of strength possible to keep her hands in it for the shortest amount of time.
After a while she just gave up trying to crawl, and decided to sit there and eat the leaves. That is if she could get them before we could.
Mommy snapped this picture of Ella while we were playing outside.
Who needs play pens right now when you have a natural fence like grass. A blanket in the middle of the yard is like a prison when your child doesn't want to touch the grass.
