It's Been A While

It's only been a couple months, but it seems like Ella's changing almost daily. It seems like just yesterday that she could walk under the kitchen table without having to duck. Now she can look over the edge of the table without standing on her tippy toes.

When she's not reading, her favorite game is playing chase. She giggles all over the house in anticipation of Mommy or Daddy catching her, and when Ally's here they play a little version of "Hide and Seek". That usually ends up with Ally popping out and scaring Ella out of her shoes. Ella must enjoy it though, because she just keeps coming back for more.

Ella is counting to 10 now, and reciting the "ABC" song. Although she doesn't always get every letter, she does get to "K" before skipping random letters. She'll even sing the end of the song "... now I know my ABC's, next time won't you sing with me"...... little smarty pants, obviously takes after her mom.

Grandma got Ella this little "Winnie the Pooh" chair for Christmas, and she just loves to sit in it and read her books. When we get home from daycare, you can always find Ella sitting in her seat snacking on a little "Tea Cup" of Cheerios.

What a little ham. She get's the idea of getting her picture taken, and actually show's interest in getting it taken. However, she doesn't sit still long enough before she rushes over to the camera to see herself. She's not even done saying cheese before she's jumping up to come see.
