Thanks Easter Bunny!!

Ella had fun this Easter not hunting for eggs, but hunting for shoes.....

Aunt Karen found a great deal on some shoes, so grandma thought it would be fun to have Ella hunt for little gift bags of shoes through out the house. It was almost like her woman's sixth sense kicked in... SHOE'S.... It took all of 2 minutes to find all 3 pairs.

<----- Hence the blue Sandals with the pink dress

Easter at Mama's house was the traditional Easter Egg scavenger hunt. Ella and Mia were old enough to participate this year, so Aunt Jody and Uncle Robbie created a special hunt just for them. Each egg they found would have a picture of the location of the next egg. The girls did pretty good, they would get so excited when they found an egg, and would eagerly open the egg to find the next clue.

We of course have to take a break to read a new Dora book

Getting Ready For The Easter Bunny....

Thank goodness Water color is somewhat washable. With a little bit of scrubbing Mommy was able to wash most of the color off of Ella's hand's..... arm's..... face....... but if we didn't do it we wouldn't have had these wonderful works of art.

"Silly Daddy"....

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post, where does the time go.....

I was cooking dinner tonight, and Ella as always, wanted to taste the lemon I was chopping up.... "ewe gross" was her response. Lol, the things she says these days.
Just the other day we were playing and being goofy, and she stops looks at me and says "Silly Daddy"

So I think Elmo's out and DORA's in these days. This girl just can't get enough. I think we watched a total of 8 Dora episodes back to back the other day. You may be thinking, 8 episodes? that's not so bad, they're only 20 minutes long...... well, when there's only 3 episodes to choose from on demand... watching each epsiode 2-3 times in a row can get a little rough.
